Metal Detectable Bell Shaped Foam Earplug

In food manufacturing facilities, preventing food contamination is a top priority. If a stray earplug made its way into food produced at that facility, a company’s reputation could also be damaged, and it could be faced with a string of consumer complaints. Metal-detectable earplugs are one of the easiest ways to help ensure that this type of non-food object is found before the food leaves the production facility.
Features:
These earplugs, EP-39D, have a small metal bead placed inside them to protect ears from loud noises. They are also designed to be detectable by metal detectors when they fall down the production line, preventing foreign objects from entering the product. These bell-shaped earplugs have a flared end that provides extra material to cover the outside of the ear canal and block sound effectively. They come with plastic cords containing either metal or non-metal particles and are individually packed in polybags to keep them clean. These earplugs are tested according to ANSI S3.19-1974 and feature soft, slow-recovery foam for maximum comfort and excellent noise reduction. Their bell shape provides versatility and a comfortable fit for many ear canal sizes. The attached cords are brightly colored to aid in the visual inspection of food contaminants. It is recommended to use a contrasting color that stands out from most food products.
