Decaffeinated coffee is made by natural sugar cane dialysis.
First, the shelled beans that have been sun-dried are steamed.
The process of making the raw beans slightly swollen and soft not only removes the silver skin, but also opens the pores of the tissue.
Then soak in an extraction tank filled with Ethyl Acetate (EA),
Ethyl Acetate (EA) is a naturally derived substance from sugar cane,
In the fermentation tank, the caffeine in the coffee can be extracted by the guidance of water, and then separated and applied.
This treatment method avoids the extreme means of high temperature and high pressure, leaving as much flavor as possible,
The decaffeinated green beans are steamed again after leaving the fermentation tank to remove residual EA,
Wait for cooling and then polish with vegetable wax to maintain the appearance of green beans.
That's why the green bean looks slightly shiny and doesn't develop a silvery skin during roasting.
