The V ring seal is made entirely of rubber for ease of installation and to allow for a good press fit on the shaft. Normally they are mounted on the rotating shaft and allow the sealing lip to press against the stationary counter face of the housing bore, bearing washer or other surface, providing for a good tight seal. The flexible lip design allows axial movement and accommodates for radial misalignment. It protects against dirt, dust and water.
This seal can be used in a wide range of motor applications.
